The Lake Villa Halloween Car Show and Costume Contest, with trunk or treat, takes over Lehmann Park in downtown Lake Villa, on grass parking by the gazebo. The public car show runs 9 AM to 2 PM. Show car registration opens at 8 AM and costs $20 cash. The Halloween costume contest starts at noon, with awards for Best Decorated Ride, Best Child Costume and Best Adult Costume, and top rides get special Halloween trophies. Smash'Em Up Burgers will sell food and drinks. The 50/50 raffle benefits TNR Services of Lake County and medical care for kittens and cats.
